Composition of ink
LED UV Ink includes resin, monomer, photoinitiator and other components. Monomers in the ink polymerize to form a hard coating when exposed to UV LED light. The ink features a lower level of volatile organic compounds (VOC), making it more environmentally friendly.
Price and cost
LED UV Ink is usually more expensive than conventional ink, but because of its special properties, it can be used on a wider range of materials and does not require an expensive post-processing process. Therefore, using LED UV Ink may be more cost effective in the long run.
