Composition of uv ink



The composition of uV ink is mainly composed of pigment (Pigment), quasi-polymer (Oligamer), monomer (Monomer), photoinitiator (Photoinitiator), sensitizer and auxiliary (Filler), etc., a traditional Strong Adhension Solvent Ink will be composed of varnish oil, solvent type and other ingredients. This also determines that there is a big difference in the characteristics of the two.



Characteristics of uv ink:



Generally speaking, there are the following 12 points:


1. No need to spray powder;


2. Dry immediately, but need to be irradiated with ultraviolet light source to dry;


3. No UV light does not crust, so there is no crust in the ink tank;


4. The ink does not contain solvent;


5. Printable non-absorbent printed materials;

6. The ink film is uniform and has better anti-friction properties;


7. Before being irradiated, it will not dry on the printer or on the plate;


8. It will change under high temperature and humidity and should be stored below 40°C;


9. Can not be mixed with general ink;


10. Thinners and cleaning agents must be dedicated for UV, and cannot be confused with other cleaning agents;


11. Not all materials of Uv Ink are universal, and its adhesion must be tested individually according to the ink of different properties;


12. UV is a kind of chemical line, the wavelength required for ink drying must be close to the UV wavelength, otherwise the drying benefit cannot be achieved

1. The thickness of uv ink;


2. Different types of printed materials;


3. The printing speed of the machine;


4. Type of UV reflector;


5. UV lamp intensity.
