A. According to the color base

a. Dye type ink (Dye): based on dyes, most of the Large Inkjet Printer Solvent Ink currently used on the market are dye-type inks;

b. Pigment: Pigment based on pigment;

B. According to the solvent:

a. Economic Dye Based Sublimation Ink: water and water-soluble solvent as the main component of the dissolved chromophore;

b. Oily ink: A non-aqueous and water-soluble solvent is used as a main component of the dissolved chromophore.

In practical applications, the above classifications are not strictly separated, but are used interchangeably. For example, some pigment inkjet inks may be water-based or oily, but water and oil properties are never allowed to be mixed in the same printhead due to their nature and the actual requirements of the printer.

The shelf life of ink is generally 2 years. The ink preservation requires sealing, avoiding direct sunlight, and the temperature should not be too high or too low.
